THE RIGHT APPROACH TO MINISTRY IS COURAGE
Looking at Joshua 1:1-9, we are being encouraged to be very courageous in other to fulfill our ministry, not just being courageous but be very courageous so as to be able to fulfil those ideas God has loaded in our lives to solve the problems in the world. "Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you” (v. 7 NKJV) Joshua was going to lead the Israelites into enemy occupied Promise Land. God restated His faithfulness to Israel and to Joshua, and commissioned him with these words: "Be strong and very courageous, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which / swore to their fathers to give them" (v.6). However, strength and courage would depend on Joshua's attitude to 'this book of the law. "Be strong and of good courage," that is God's combat instruction to you, which is necessary for victory.
